Another display I had to visit at the V&A was the Book Illustration Award. I didn't really enjoy this display as much I thought it was a bit lifeless and bland. I wasn't really blown over by any other illustrations either they just seemed to be the usual type of illustrations you see in books, newspapers and magazines.
Out of all the illustrations I liked Minho Kwon's pencil and charcoal on tracing paper drawings the most. I liked the essence of Kwon exploring old and modern objects. I also liked the combination of mixing beautiful artifacts with mechanical machinery and to me it represents the history and future in buildings notably in cites like London and New York.
