Over the weekend I've been putting my animation together in Photoshop using the timeline. I started by creating my many layers. Then when it came to saving my animation as a gif it crashed and said my gif was to big to be saved. So I decided to have a break as I was getting frustrated and came back to it this morning. I decided to delete the slides I made and create a smaller ones so i'd end up with several small gif that I could merge together later in Final Cut Pro. However Photoshop crashed again and said my file was to big again even though I downsized it considerably. So I've put my animation on hold till Thursday or hopefully before to ask Dan how to save it.
Seeing as my animation wasn't cooperating I decided to create more dust cover designs as I don't have anything else to do and didn't want to be unproductive. I haven't changed anything considerably, I'm feeling a bit uninspired for the dust covers at the moment. I don't want them to be too busy and whack one of my art pieces on the front but I also feel as though the covers I've made so far have been a bit boring. I added some colours to the ones I made before and added some of my fingerprints to some. I think I need to print them out tomorrow on acetate and see how they look and feel in a physical form. Hopefully that will give me some inspiration and I can get some feedback from classmates and tutors. I also just remembered that I need to write a blurb to add to my dust cover.
Tomorrow I'm hoping to:
- Try and sort out my animation problem
- Print my dust cover (if I have any print credit)
- Collect feedback on my dust cover and update them in need be
- Write a blurb for my dust cover
